Who benefits from Adult Day Services?

Caretaker: If you answer “yes” to any of the following questions, adult day services will benefit both you and your loved one.

• Do you worry about your loved one’s safety at home alone?
• Do you worry that your loved one is unhappy or bored sitting at home all day?
• Do you worry about the health of your loved one?
• Do you want help to be able to keep your loved one at home as long as possible?
• Does your loved one seem depressed and have no one to talk to?

If you answer “yes” to any of the above questions then adult day services are for you! We invite you to give it a try.

Future Naperville Senior Center Member: If you answer “yes” to any of the following questions, adult day services will benefit both you and your caretaker.

• Do you worry about being home alone?
• Are you unhappy or bored sitting at home all day?
• Would you like a nurse to answer questions about your medications
• Do you want to stay in your own home as long as possible?
• Would you benefit from visiting with people your own age?
• Are you worried that people who help you are stressed or tired
• Do you like to learn new things?
• Would you like to feel you have a reason to get up in the morning?
• Do you need to improve your strength and ability to get around?
• Do you like to get your hair done?
• Are you interested in music, art, poetry, dancing, or story telling?
• Do you like spending time with children or young adults?
• Do you like to go out in the community to try new things?
• Do you like to be entertained?
• Do you enjoy healthy good food?
• Do you need help showering?
• Do you need help getting to the bathroom?
